We have a class for 4-6 year olds, we call 'Little Dragons'. Here is a sketch I did for a tri-fold brochure about the class.
American Museum of Natural History in NYC is putting on a show about creatures that exists only in our imagination: "Mythic Creatures: Dragons, Unicorns, and Mermaids". There was a writeup about this in the New Yorker. According to the article, dragons exist in most mythologies in one form or another. Western dragons are fire-breathing meanies while Chinese dragons are more benevolent in nature (helping crops grow, that kind of thing).
