Another one-line. I have a few sketches, but they need painted before I can put them up.

I wanted to grow asparagus, but didn't know anything about it. So I went to the nursery and got a couple of plants. Got home, and found out that they were asparagus ferns. Apparently, it is totally different from what I thought. Ferns are decorative house plants and don't produce anything edible.

We got asparagus crowns later from Straders Garden Supply on Bethel and 33 (first time I have been there: A greenhouse the size of a football field. Impressive). Pulled up some ornamentals around the house to make a bed for them. So, now we wait a couple of years, and voila! asparagus!
