Dancer

A sketch from a few months back.

Now I look at it, and find the dancer to be culturally confused. The dancer's costume looks like it could be a loosely interpreted kathakali costume (a classical dance from Kerala), and the design across the chest looks vaguely African. God knows where the headdress is from. Then there is the Djembe in the background.

I have a djembe, and enjoy making noise, although I have no rhythm. Reciting Kadammanitta (think beat poetry/reggae fusion with a dash of revoluzione, in Malayalam) while banging on the drum.. Good times. Torture to Pam and anybody else who may be within the hearing range, but good times.
