I keep hearing the media and the politicians talking about extricating from this "mess we find ourselves in". Now, the verbiage makes the whole act of getting into the mess sound so passive. But I don't think it was.Remember the popularity ratings for the administration when the sabers were being rattled (that's what they call them in DC)? We all share the karma.
Maybe the question should be how to get off this bed we made for ourselves. People of Iraq have no such luxury. They are under the bed.
